Terms of Service
Effective date: 2026-07-05 · v1.0
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service ("Terms") set out the conditions and procedures for using wbsgantt and related services (the "Service") provided by the wbsgantt operator (the "Operator"), and the rights, obligations and responsibilities of Members and the Operator.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- "Service" means the WBS and Gantt-chart based project management tools provided under the wbsgantt.com domain.
- "Member" means a person who agrees to these Terms, creates an account and uses the Service.
- "Content" means all data a Member enters or uploads to the Service, such as projects, WBS structures, schedules and comments.
Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of the Terms)
- The Operator posts these Terms within the Service.
- The Operator may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. Amendments are announced within the Service, stating the effective date and reasons, at least 7 days before taking effect (30 days for changes unfavorable to Members).
- Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms. Members who do not agree may stop using the Service and close their account.
Article 4 (Registration)
- Only persons aged 14 or older may register as Members.
- During the private beta, registration requires a valid invite code.
- The Operator may cancel registration or restrict use if a Member registered with false information or another person’s identity.
Article 5 (Account Management)
- Members are responsible for safeguarding their account and password and must not allow third parties to use them.
- Members must notify the Operator immediately upon becoming aware of any unauthorized use of their account.
Article 6 (Provision, Change and Suspension of the Service)
- The Operator strives to provide the Service continuously, but may temporarily suspend it for maintenance, upgrades, failures or other operational needs.
- The Operator may change or discontinue the Service. Changes or discontinuation that materially affect Members will be announced in advance.
Article 7 (Beta Service Provisions)
- The Service is currently provided as a free private beta.
- During the beta, features may be added or changed without notice, and availability and complete preservation of data are not guaranteed. We recommend keeping separate copies of important data, for example via Excel export.
- Paid plans will be announced at least 30 days in advance, with payment and refund terms introduced through an amendment to these Terms. Members using the free beta will never be charged automatically.
Article 8 (Member Obligations)
Members must not engage in any of the following:
- Violating applicable laws or these Terms;
- Infringing the personal data, intellectual property or other rights of others;
- Interfering with the operation of the Service, including abnormal bulk requests;
- Transferring or lending an account to another person;
- Undermining the stability of the Service, including distributing malicious code.
Article 9 (Rights to Content)
- Rights to Content entered into the Service belong to the Member or the rightful owner.
- The Operator stores and processes Content only to the extent necessary to provide, maintain and improve the Service, and does not use it for any other purpose.
- If a Member creates a read-only share link, anyone with the link can view the shared Content; Members are responsible for managing such links.
Article 10 (Restriction of Use and Termination)
- Members may request account closure at any time.
- If a Member violates these Terms, the Operator may restrict use or terminate the agreement after prior notice (or, in urgent cases, with notice afterwards).
- Upon closure or termination, the Member’s personal data and Content are destroyed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Article 11 (Disclaimer)
- The Operator is not liable for interruptions caused by force majeure, including natural disasters and failures of telecommunications carriers.
- The Operator is not liable for damages caused by reasons attributable to the Member.
- For damages arising from use of the Service during the free beta, the Operator is not liable except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence by the Operator.
Article 12 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
- These Terms and any dispute regarding use of the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
- Lawsuits regarding disputes shall be filed with the competent court under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
Addendum
These Terms take effect on July 5, 2026.
